The BSC PREFERRED DLR1722101 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel single bowl drop-in sink designed for residential and light commercial kitchen installations. Measuring 17 x 22 x 10.125 inches overall, the rectangular bowl provides interior dimensions of 13.5 inches in length, 16 inches in width, and 10 inches in depth — enough clearance for large stockpots, sheet pans, and restaurant-style prep work. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the sides and bottom reduce vibration and noise during heavy use. Plumbers and kitchen installers will find the U-channel mounting clip system straightforward to set, and the stainless finish is engineered to resist everyday scratching while maintaining its appearance over time.
The DLR1722101 suits residential kitchens, prep areas, bar stations, and laundry rooms, as well as light commercial settings where a durable stainless sink is required. The drop-in configuration works with standard countertop materials including laminate, solid surface, and tile. A minimum cabinet width of 21 inches is required. The countertop cutout dimension is 16.375 x 21.375 inches. The centrally located drain opening measures 3.5 inches in diameter, making the sink compatible with standard garbage disposals. This sink is manufactured in the USA.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new installation for countertop cutouts measuring 16.375 x 21.375 inches; requires a minimum cabinet width of 21 inches. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain assemblies and garbage disposal flanges.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified kitchen installer. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removal of any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant along the underside of the sink rim before dropping into the cutout, then secure with the provided U-channel mounting clips per manufacturer instructions. Follow applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements for drain and disposal connections.
