The BSC PREFERRED DLR1517103 is a drop-in single bowl kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a Lustertone finish. It measures 15 inches by 17.5 inches with a basin depth of 10 inches, offering ample room for stacking, soaking, and washing large cookware including sheet pans and stock pots. The Lustertone finish features a uniform grain pattern that resists light scratches and allows surface repair on deeper marks. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the underside of the bowl reduce vibration and noise during use. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers handle this type of fixture in both residential and light commercial kitchens.
The DLR1517103 is suited for drop-in installation in residential kitchens and light commercial prep areas. Its drop-in configuration requires a minimum cabinet width of 18 inches, making it compatible with standard base cabinet layouts. The sink ships with three faucet holes pre-configured for a typical deck-mount faucet setup. A 3.5-inch drain opening accepts standard garbage disposal flanges and basket strainer assemblies. The compact footprint works well in smaller kitchens or secondary prep stations where counter space is limited.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-installation sink for residential and light commercial kitchens requiring a minimum 18-inch base cabinet. The 3.5-inch drain opening is compatible with standard garbage disposal flanges and basket strainer assemblies.
Installation of this drop-in sink should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before beginning removal of any existing fixture. Use a silicone sealant rated for kitchen sink applications along the rim perimeter to create a watertight seal between the sink and countertop. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this may distort the sink rim or damage the countertop substrate.
