The BSC PREFERRED DL1281 is a roll of 500 pressure-sensitive dry ice shipping labels designed to meet Federal Express labeling and marking requirements for packages containing dry ice. These DOT and hazmat-compliant labels provide bold, clearly printed instructions and warnings that remain legible and firmly adhered to cartons and outer packaging throughout the shipping process. Each roll contains 500 labels, making it a practical supply for shipping departments, cold chain operations, and distribution facilities that regularly ship temperature-sensitive materials packed with dry ice.
These labels are intended for use in packaging and shipping environments where dry ice is used as a refrigerant for perishable goods, biological specimens, pharmaceuticals, or other temperature-sensitive freight. They are designed to satisfy carrier and regulatory requirements for external labeling of dry ice shipments. Shipping coordinators, warehouse staff, and logistics professionals working in cold chain or specialty freight operations are the primary installers and users of these labels.
Designed as an OEM-equivalent replacement for part number S-2844. Suitable for general use on standard outer shipping cartons and containers requiring dry ice hazmat labeling.
Labels should be applied to a clean, dry, flat surface on the exterior of the shipping container. Ensure the surface is free of dust, moisture, and previous label residue before application to achieve full adhesion. Follow applicable DOT and carrier-specific guidelines for label placement on dry ice shipments. Do not apply over seams, closures, or irregular surfaces where adhesion may be compromised.
