The BSC PREFERRED DK3M128 is a polypropylene reclosable fastener strip with a rubber-based adhesive backing, designed to create a strong, more permanent bond for heavy items. The strip features Type 400 rigid plastic stems that interlock for hundreds of repeated closures without losing hold. Each case includes 2 rolls providing 150 feet of usable product total. The adhesive backing is formulated to bond to many plastics, powder-coated paints, and other low surface energy materials, making it a practical mechanical fastening solution for interior applications where conventional hardware is not suitable.

Compatibility

Stems interlock with DK3M111 or DK3M115. Type 400 stem density mates to Type 170 or Type 250 stem density strips but does not mate to itself. This product is equivalent to part number S-15825.

Installation Notes

Clean and dry the mounting surface thoroughly before applying the adhesive backing to ensure proper adhesion. This product is intended for indoor use only and should not be exposed to moisture, outdoor conditions, or temperatures exceeding 120 degrees F. Allow adequate dwell time after application before loading the fastener. A mating strip of Type 170 or Type 250 stem density is required on the opposing surface for the connection to function.
