The BSC PREFERRED CR25214 is a single-bowl, drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. Measuring 25 inches in length, 21.25 inches in width, and 6.875 inches in depth, it fits into a standard 30-inch minimum cabinet with a countertop cutout of 24.375 inches by 20.625 inches and a 1.5-inch corner radius. The bowl interior measures 21 inches by 15.75 inches, offering a full-size wash area suitable for residential and light commercial kitchens. A licensed plumber or experienced installer handles the drop-in mount using a U-channel clip system. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and noise during use.
The CR25214 is designed for new construction and remodel kitchen installations where a four-hole faucet configuration is required. The center drain opening measures 3.5 inches and is compatible with standard garbage disposal flanges and basket strainers. The sink has also been used in accessible and public-space installations where a durable stainless steel drop-in unit is specified. Special mounting hardware included with the unit supports countertops up to 0.75 inches thick, making it adaptable to laminate, tile, and solid-surface countertop applications.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install sink for kitchens requiring a minimum 30-inch base cabinet. Countertop cutout dimension is 24.375 inches by 20.625 inches with a 1.5-inch corner radius. Mounting hardware supports countertops up to 0.75 inches thick.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in compliance with applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing an existing sink. The drop-in method requires cutting the countertop to the specified dimensions; verify cutout measurements before cutting. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the sink rim or damage the countertop surface.
