The BSC PREFERRED COND10 is a cargo desiccant packet designed to aggressively absorb airborne moisture during storage and shipment. Each bag works by lowering the dew point temperature inside the cargo environment, preventing condensation from forming on goods. This mechanism reduces the risk of mold, mildew, corrosion, warping, and spoilage that develop when humidity is left unchecked. The COND10 is sold as a case of 32 individual bags, making it practical for high-volume shipping operations where multiple placements are needed across a single load or pallet.
These desiccant packets are suited for use in enclosed shipping containers, palletized freight, packaged goods, and warehouse storage environments. Individual bags can be positioned between stacks of cargo, tucked into boxes, or placed at intervals throughout a shipment to maintain consistent moisture control. Applications include protecting metal parts, electronics, textiles, food packaging, and other moisture-sensitive goods in transit. This product is equivalent to part number S-5168.

No tools or trade licensing are required to deploy these desiccant packets. Place individual bags between layers or stacks of cargo before sealing the container or packaging. For best results, seal the cargo environment as completely as possible to maximize the desiccant effect. Do not open or puncture individual bags, as loose desiccant material may contaminate the cargo.
