The BSC PREFERRED CMR43224 is a drop-in triple bowl kitchen sink constructed from 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 43 inches x 22 inches x 7 inches overall, with a countertop cutout of 42-3/8 inches x 21-3/8 inches. Three rectangular bowls provide dedicated zones for washing, rinsing, and food prep. The main bowl measures 13.5 inches x 18 inches with a 6.875-inch depth. The secondary bowl measures 10 inches x 12 inches with a 5-inch depth. Straight sidewalls create flat-bottom space suited for stacking and soaking. Sound-deadening pads reduce vibration and noise during use. This sink is manufactured in the USA and carries a net weight of 15 pounds.
This sink is designed for residential kitchen installations where a drop-in, three-compartment layout is required. The four pre-drilled faucet holes allow flexible configuration to accommodate a range of faucets, side sprayers, soap dispensers, or similar accessories. Each bowl drains through a 3.5-inch center drain opening, which is compatible with standard garbage disposal units. A minimum cabinet width of 48 inches is required. The U-channel installation design allows mounting clips to be positioned inside the channel prior to lowering the sink into the countertop cutout, simplifying the installation process for plumbers and skilled tradespeople.
Designed for drop-in installation in countertops up to 3/4 inches thick. Requires a minimum cabinet width of 48 inches. Countertop cutout dimension is 42-3/8 inches x 21-3/8 inches.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before beginning any sink removal or replacement work. Verify countertop cutout dimensions and cabinet clearance before setting the sink. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the underside rim before lowering the sink into the cutout, and secure mounting clips evenly to prevent gaps or rocking.
