The BSC PREFERRED CHSP1716C is a wall-hung handwash sink kit constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, designed for high-traffic commercial and institutional environments. The single-bowl sink measures 16.75 inches in length, 15.5 inches in width, and 13 inches in height, with a bowl interior of 12 inches by 9.25 inches and a 6-inch depth. A 7-inch full-length backsplash with a 45-degree angled top controls water splash at the wall. The brushed finish on exposed surfaces resists fingerprints and buildup. This kit ships complete with foot control (LK399A), polished spout (LK395A), LK8 grid drain, and LK500 P-trap for straightforward installation by a licensed plumber.
This sink is suited for schools, healthcare facilities, recreational centers, public restrooms, and commercial wash stations where sanitation and durability are primary requirements. The 2.2 GPM flow rate supports high-frequency use without excessive water draw. The 2-inch center drain opening accommodates standard plumbing rough-in configurations. Coved interior corners with a 1.75-inch radius eliminate hard-to-clean seams, making routine sanitization faster and more thorough. The wall-mount design keeps the floor clear, which is a common requirement in health code-regulated facilities.
Designed as a wall-mounted handwash sink for commercial and institutional plumbing systems with a standard 2-inch drain rough-in. Included accessories are BSC PREFERRED components LK399A foot control, LK395A spout, LK8 grid drain, and LK500 P-trap.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and confirm wall-framing or blocking can support the sink weight before mounting. Verify rough-in dimensions and drain location prior to securing the sink to the wall. Do not overtighten drain fittings on stainless steel — hand-snug plus a controlled quarter-turn is the typical practice for these connections.
