The BSC PREFERRED CHSB1716C is a complete handwash sink kit built from Type 304 stainless steel, designed for reliable hand hygiene service in commercial and institutional settings. The kit includes the CHSB1716 sink body, a LKB400 faucet, and a LKB8 drain, delivering a ready-to-install assembly that reduces field sourcing time. The overall sink measures 16.75 inches in length, 15.5 inches in width, and 13 inches in height. The single bowl measures 12 inches in length, 9.25 inches in width, and 6 inches in depth, providing adequate capacity for efficient handwashing. Exposed surfaces carry a brushed finish that resists soiling and simplifies routine sanitization. A licensed plumber or qualified service technician handles installation in most jurisdictions.
The CHSB1716C is suited for light-duty hand hygiene stations in commercial, institutional, and light industrial environments. Typical installations include school classrooms, healthcare clinics, recreational facilities, break rooms, and public restrooms where a compact, wall-supported handwash station is required. The 7-inch full-length backsplash with a 45-degree sloped top controls splash and supports sanitary wall conditions. Coved corners with a 1.75-inch radius reduce standing water and debris accumulation at the bowl perimeter. The center drain opening measures 2 inches, and the sink accommodates two faucet holes for flexible faucet configuration.
This kit is built around the CHSB1716 sink body and is supplied as a matched assembly with the LKB400 faucet and LKB8 drain. Designed as a self-contained OEM-style wall-mount handwash sink installation for commercial and institutional plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before beginning work. Secure the hanger support bracket to wall framing or blocking capable of supporting the loaded weight of the sink and fixtures. Verify drain rough-in location and supply line spacing before mounting to avoid repositioning after the bracket is set.
