The BSC PREFERRED BSF113 is a full body safety harness designed for fall arrest applications in construction, maintenance, and industrial work environments. Built with lightweight, high-strength polyester webbing, the harness delivers reliable durability under daily field conditions. A rear-mounted back D-ring serves as the primary connection point for a personal fall arrest system and is positioned to keep the worker upright following a fall. Parachute-style torso adjusters allow precise fit across a range of body sizes. Tongue and grommet leg straps make donning and adjusting the harness fast, even in cold or gloved conditions. Licensed safety professionals and trained workers performing work at heights are the primary users.
The BSF113 is suited for residential and commercial construction, industrial maintenance, utility work, and any application requiring compliant fall protection at elevation. The harness fits into a standard personal fall arrest system alongside lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, and compatible anchorage connectors. Its lightweight webbing construction reduces fatigue during extended wear, making it a practical choice for full-shift use on elevated work platforms, scaffolding, ladders, and structural steel.
Serves as an equivalent replacement for part number H-857. Designed for use with standard personal fall arrest system components including lanyards and self-retracting lifelines meeting applicable safety standards.
Donning and inspection of fall arrest harnesses should be performed by a competent person as defined by applicable OSHA regulations before each use. Power down or de-energize nearby equipment as required by site safety plans prior to working at elevation. Inspect all webbing, hardware, and D-ring connections for wear, cuts, or deformation before each use and retire the harness immediately if it has arrested a fall. Follow the manufacturer's donning instructions and applicable ANSI Z359 standards for proper fit and connection to the fall arrest system.
