The BSC PREFERRED BCR151 is a single-bowl drop-in bar sink constructed from 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, designed for bar tops, prep stations, and secondary sink applications in both residential and light commercial settings. The rectangular basin measures 15 inches wide by 15 inches long by 6.125 inches deep, providing a functional wash area suited to drink prep, small-wares rinsing, and general bar service tasks. Sound-dampening pads are applied to the underside of the bowl to reduce vibration and noise during use. The center drain placement keeps drainage centered in the basin and simplifies trap alignment during rough-in.
The BCR151 is built for countertop installations where space is limited but a dedicated sink basin is required. The drop-in configuration and U-channel mounting system allow the sink to seat into a cutout without requiring undermount hardware or adhesive clips. The unit is rated for countertops up to 0.75 inches thick and requires a minimum cabinet width of 18 inches. ADA-compliant design makes it suitable for accessible bar or prep counter installations. Manufactured in the USA by BSC PREFERRED, a brand with documented production dating to 1920.
Designed for drop-in installation in countertops up to 0.75 inches thick requiring a minimum cabinet width of 18 inches, suitable for standard bar top and prep counter cutout configurations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and disconnect any existing drain lines before beginning the cutout or sink swap. Use the U-channel mounting hardware to secure the sink to the countertop deck and apply a bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the sink rim as required by the countertop material. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as distortion of the sink flange can compromise the seal.
