The BSC PREFERRED 730276 is a coarse-thread, bugle-head drywall screw sold in a 1-pound box. The screw measures No. 8 diameter by 2-1/2 inches in length and features a No. 2 Phillips recess drive. It is constructed from hardened carbon steel that has been heat-treated, quenched, and re-tempered, resulting in a fastener that resists wear, corrosion, and abrasion. A phosphate finish provides additional surface protection. The sharp point is designed to penetrate material quickly without pre-drilling. These screws are intended for interior applications and are installed by carpenters, drywall hangers, and general contractors.

This screw is suited for attaching drywall panels to wood or metal framing studs in residential and light commercial interior construction.
