The BSC PREFERRED 496-105DIB is a flexible braided stainless steel toilet supply line designed to deliver a reliable water connection between the shutoff valve and toilet fill valve. The line features an inner reinforced PVC core tubing encased in braided stainless steel strands, providing kink resistance and strong protection in exposed locations. The 3/8 inch compression inlet connects to a standard angle stop valve, and the 7/8 inch ballcock nut fits most standard toilet fill valve inlets. At 20 inches in length, this line suits a wide range of rough-in distances in both residential and commercial restroom installations. Licensed plumbers and qualified installers handle this type of supply line as a standard service item.
This supply line is suited for use on residential and commercial toilets where a durable, flexible connection is required between the water supply shutoff valve and the toilet tank fill valve. The braided stainless steel exterior provides added protection in exposed or high-traffic installations, making it a practical choice for new construction, renovation, and replacement service work. The 20 inch length accommodates typical wall-mounted angle stop configurations found in most residential bathrooms and commercial restroom settings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement supply line for residential and commercial toilets using a 3/8 inch compression shutoff valve connection and a 7/8 inch ballcock fill valve inlet.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the water supply at the angle stop valve and flush the toilet to relieve line pressure before disconnecting the existing supply line. Hand-tighten the ballcock nut onto the fill valve inlet, then snug the compression fitting onto the shutoff valve outlet using an adjustable wrench. Do not overtighten fittings, as this can crack the ballcock shank or deform the compression seat.
