The BSC PREFERRED 484036EL is a Half Slotted Container (HSC) built for high-volume bulk loading and unloading operations. A 14-inch perforated flap on the front face folds down to open the container at working height, reducing the need to reach over a full-height sidewall. This design directly addresses back strain and repetitive-motion injury risk in warehouse and distribution environments. The container is constructed from 350 DW/ECT-51 kraft corrugated, a double-wall board grade rated for demanding stacking and bulk-fill applications. Once loaded, the flap folds back up and can be secured with tape. Sold in a pack of 5 containers per unit of measure.

This container is suited for warehouse distribution centers, fulfillment operations, and manufacturing facilities where bulk quantities of product need to be staged, stored, or shipped on pallets. The shortened container height makes it practical for floor-level or conveyor-level loading without mechanical assist. The HSC design - open top with no attached lid - allows fast top-loading while the fold-down flap provides front access. A matching lid (sold separately under part number GAYLORDLID) is available when a closed container is required. Pallets are not included. This product is equivalent to part number S-4812.

Installation Notes

Set up the container on a flat, stable pallet or floor surface before loading. Fold down the perforated front flap prior to filling to allow safe front access. After loading is complete, fold the flap back to its upright position and secure with stretch film or packaging tape. If a closed container is required for shipment or storage, order the GAYLORDLID separately before sealing.
