The BSC PREFERRED 303674 is an 8-inch lineman pliers built for electrical and utility work. Constructed from drop-forged tempered steel with a deep-milled polished chrome finish, these pliers deliver the strength and edge retention that field work demands. Extra-sharp cutting edges handle wire cutting tasks without secondary tools. The thermoplastic rubber (TPR) over-molded grips reduce hand fatigue during extended use. At 1.04 pounds, the tool balances well for overhead and panel work. Licensed electricians, linemen, and electrical contractors are the primary users.
These lineman pliers are suited for residential and commercial electrical installation and service work. Typical applications include twisting and cutting conductors, pulling wire through conduit, and general-purpose gripping tasks at the panel or in the field. The rust-resistant finish extends service life in outdoor and high-humidity environments.
Designed as a general-purpose lineman pliers for use in standard electrical installation and service applications.
Lineman pliers should be used by qualified electricians following applicable NEC guidelines. Always de-energize circuits before working on conductors. Inspect the cutting edges and grips before each use and replace the tool if the jaws are chipped or grips are cracked. These pliers are not rated as insulated tools for live-line work unless specifically marked and certified.
