The BSC PREFERRED 1C18X18-L-18X is a single-compartment stainless steel sink built for demanding commercial environments. Constructed from 16-gauge type 304 series stainless steel, the unit delivers long-term corrosion resistance under continuous heavy-use conditions. The bowl measures 18 inches in length, 18 inches in width, and 12 inches in depth, providing substantial capacity for washing, rinsing, and food prep tasks. An 18-inch left drainboard extends the usable work surface directly adjacent to the bowl. The package includes stainless steel legs with adjustable bullet feet, allowing the unit to sit level on uneven floors without shimming. Overall assembled dimensions are 38.5 inches long, 23.81 inches wide, and 44.75 inches tall. A licensed plumber typically handles final installation in a commercial setting.
This sink is intended for commercial kitchens, food service prep areas, healthcare facilities, classrooms, and similar institutional environments where a durable single-basin sink with drainboard is required. The 10-inch backsplash with tile ledge suits counter-to-wall installations and simplifies sealing during rough-in. Two faucet holes are pre-drilled at 8 inches on center to accept a standard single splash-mount faucet, sold separately. The centrally located 3.5-inch drain accommodates standard commercial drain fittings. This configuration also supports ADA-compliant bowl depth applications where required by local code.
Designed as an OEM-style single-compartment commercial sink compatible with standard 3.5-inch commercial drain assemblies and splash-mount faucets configured at 8-inch on-center spacing. Faucet is not included.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in dimensions before setting the unit. Confirm floor levelness before locking down the adjustable feet, and apply an appropriate sealant between the backsplash and wall surface to prevent moisture intrusion. Do not use the sink to support overhead loads or attached cabinetry beyond the rated structure of the legs.
