The BSC PREFERRED 19701 is an all-in-one solvent cement kit that provides a pipe cleaner, purple primer, and multipurpose solvent cement in a single package. The kit is designed for use on PVC, CPVC, and ABS pipe and fittings in Schedule 40 and 80, Type I and II configurations up to 6 inches in diameter. The included cleaner flows freely and evaporates quickly to prep surfaces before bonding. Plumbers and pipefitters use this kit on pressure pipe, gas conduit, and drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. Application temperature range runs from 40 degrees F to 100 degrees F.

This kit is suited for residential and commercial plumbing installations where multiple pipe materials are encountered on the same job. The all-purpose cleaner handles ABS, CPVC, and PVC. The purple primer is especially recommended for high-gloss hard-finish bell-end pipe or fittings where surface preparation is critical to bond integrity. The medium-bodied, medium-set clear cement is appropriate for pressure pipe, gas conduit, and DWV applications.
