This cement is suited for plumbing, irrigation, and conduit installations where PVC, CPVC, or ABS materials are used. It handles pressure pipe systems, gas conduit runs, and drain-waste lines. Its clear formulation keeps joints visually clean, which is useful in exposed or inspected installations. The medium-body formula works across a range of pipe diameters up to 6 inches, giving installers flexibility when working with mixed pipe sizes on the same job site.
Rated for use on PVC, CPVC, and ABS pipe and fittings, Schedule 40 and Schedule 80, Types I and II, up to 6 inches in diameter, including pressure pipe, gas conduit, and drain-waste systems.
This solvent cement is applied by licensed plumbers following local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Before cementing, cut pipe square, deburr the end, and dry-fit the joint. Apply cement to both the pipe end and fitting socket, then immediately push and twist the pipe to full depth. Allow adequate cure time per the cement manufacturer guidelines and local code before pressurizing the system.
