The BSC PREFERRED 17120-768 is an economy-grade PTFE thread seal tape used to seal threaded pipe connections against leaks. Made from virgin white PTFE material, it wraps around male pipe threads before assembly to fill gaps and prevent fluid or gas migration at the joint. This low-density tape is non-flammable and approved for use on potable water systems. It is a standard consumable stocked by plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and gas fitters for both new installations and maintenance work. Lightweight at approximately 0.056 pounds per roll, it is easy to carry on the job.

This tape is suited for a wide range of threaded pipe applications in residential and light commercial settings. Installation Notes
