The BSC PREFERRED 14-2C16X20-2-18X is a two-compartment stainless steel sink built for demanding commercial and institutional kitchen environments. Constructed from 16-gauge type 304 series stainless steel, it measures 70 inches long by 25-13/16 inches wide by 43-3/4 inches tall overall. Each bowl measures 16 inches by 20 inches with a 14-inch depth, providing adequate volume for washing, rinsing, and food prep tasks running simultaneously. Coved corners at 3/4 inch radius simplify cleaning and reduce bacteria traps between bowl surfaces. A 9-inch backsplash with tile ledge protects the wall and eases installation against tiled surfaces. Stainless steel legs with adjustable bullet feet are included. Licensed plumbers and commercial kitchen installers are the typical trade for this unit.
This sink is suited for restaurant kitchens, healthcare facilities, school cafeterias, and high-volume residential applications where a durable multi-basin setup is required. The integrated 18-inch drainboards on both the left and right sides extend the usable work surface without requiring additional fixtures. The single splash mount faucet deck accepts two faucet holes, giving the installer flexibility in faucet selection. Faucet is not included. The overall footprint and dual-drainboard layout make this model a practical fit for straight-wall kitchen runs where linear counter space is the primary constraint.
Designed as a self-contained two-compartment sink unit. Requires a separately purchased single splash mount faucet compatible with a two-hole deck configuration. No additional sink body components are required for installation.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing code requirements and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in location before positioning the unit. Do not overtighten drain basket fittings against the stainless steel bowls. Confirm floor levelness and adjust bullet feet before making final drain and supply connections.
We pulled together the parts most installs need for this unit, plus a few add-ons worth a look. Check what you need — nothing here blocks checkout.
