The BROWNING 767307 is a VPE-120 series pillow block bearing designed for general industrial shaft support applications. It features a 1-1/4 inch bore with a straight bore profile and an eccentric lock collar to secure the bearing insert to the shaft. The housing is cast iron, and the insert is manufactured from 52100 bearing steel. Static load capacity is rated at 3,493 pounds, with a dynamic load capacity of 5,782 pounds. Rated to 2,500 RPM, this unit suits moderate-speed power transmission setups in industrial and commercial machinery. Licensed millwrights, maintenance technicians, and mechanical contractors typically install this type of component.
The VPE-120 pillow block is suited for horizontal shaft mounting in conveyor systems, fans, blowers, pumps, and similar rotating equipment where a 2-bolt base mount is required. The 5 inch center-to-center distance between mounting holes and the 1-7/8 inch base-to-center height make it a practical drop-in for standard VPE 100 series mounting patterns. It is appropriate for both new installations and replacement work in light-to-medium duty industrial environments where cast iron housings provide adequate corrosion resistance and structural support.
Designed as a standard VPE 100 series pillow block replacement. Compatible with 1-1/4 inch diameter straight shafts. Fits standard 2-bolt pillow block mounting configurations with 5 inch bolt hole center-to-center spacing.
Installation is typically performed by licensed millwrights or qualified maintenance technicians. Disconnect and lock out all power to the equipment before removing or installing any bearing components. Verify shaft diameter, shaft finish, and mounting surface flatness before seating the housing. Tighten the eccentric lock collar in the direction of shaft rotation and confirm all mounting bolts are secured to the equipment manufacturer's torque specifications for the base material.
