The BROWNING 765616 is a 2-bolt flange bearing unit designed for air handling applications in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Built around a ball bearing insert with a 3/4 inch bore, this unit features a cast iron housing and a set screw locking mechanism to secure shaft position under load. The static load capacity is 1,444 pounds and the dynamic load capacity is 2,611 pounds, making it well suited for fan shaft and blower applications where consistent radial load support is required. The 52100 steel insert provides the hardness and fatigue resistance expected in continuous-duty rotating equipment.
This flange bearing is intended for use in air handling units, supply and return fan assemblies, and similar rotating shaft applications found in light commercial and industrial HVAC installations. The 2-bolt flange mount allows for straightforward surface mounting on fan decks, equipment frames, and structural channel. It is typically installed by HVAC mechanics, millwrights, or mechanical contractors during equipment assembly, retrofit, or bearing replacement service. The VF2S 200 series designation groups this unit with other standard-dimension flange units of the same frame geometry.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation flange bearing for air handling units and fan assemblies accepting a 2-bolt flange mount with a 3/4 inch shaft bore in the VF2S 200 series geometry.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC mechanic or millwright with the equipment fully de-energized and locked out per applicable LOTO procedures before handling rotating components. Align the bearing concentrically with the mating shaft before tightening set screws, and verify bolt torque against the equipment manufacturer's fastener specifications. Lubrication is required at initial installation and at intervals appropriate to the duty cycle and ambient conditions. Do not exceed the 6,500 RPM maximum speed rating.
