The BROWNING 3694593 is a four-groove, Quick Detachable (QD) bushed V-belt sheave designed for use in industrial and commercial belt-drive systems. It accepts 5V, A, and B section belts and features an 8.88-inch outside diameter with belt pitch diameters of 8.7 inches for 5V belts, 8.2 inches for A-section belts, and 8.6 inches for B-section belts. The sheave accepts bore diameters ranging from 0.625 inches up to 2.25 inches through the use of a Type B QD bushing. Cast iron construction provides durability under continuous-duty load. This component is installed by HVAC technicians, millwrights, and mechanical contractors on fan and blower drive assemblies.
This sheave is suited for commercial and industrial belt-drive applications where multi-groove power transmission is required. Typical installations include rooftop unit supply fans, air handling unit blowers, industrial exhaust fans, and similar rotating equipment. The four-groove configuration allows for higher torque capacity compared to single or dual-groove sheaves. The QD bushing system simplifies installation and removal on the drive shaft without requiring a press or special pullers in most configurations.
Designed for use with 5V, A, and B section V-belts in four-groove belt-drive configurations. Compatible with any shaft diameter between 0.625 inches and 2.25 inches when paired with a Type B QD bushing. Suitable for commercial and industrial fan, blower, and pump drive assemblies using standard V-belt sheave mounting.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or mechanical contractor. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power and ensure the drive shaft is at rest before mounting or removing the sheave. The QD bushing should be tightened in accordance with the bushing manufacturer's torque sequence to ensure concentricity and secure shaft engagement. Verify belt tension and sheave alignment with a straightedge or laser alignment tool after installation to prevent premature belt and bearing wear.
