The BROWNING 3694510 is a four-groove, Quick Detachable (QD) bushed V-belt sheave designed for use in industrial and commercial belt-drive applications. With an outside diameter of 6.28 inches and a bore range of 5/8 inch to 2-1/4 inches, this sheave accommodates a range of shaft sizes through a standard B-style QD bushing (sold separately). It is compatible with 5V, A, and B cross-section V-belts, with corresponding belt pitch diameters of 6.1 inches, 5.6 inches, and 6.0 inches respectively. HVAC technicians, industrial mechanics, and mechanical contractors install this type of sheave in fan, blower, and pump drive systems where alignment and belt tension must meet manufacturer specifications.
This sheave is suited for four-belt drive configurations in residential and commercial HVAC air handlers, rooftop units, centrifugal fans, and pump systems requiring positive, high-torque power transmission. The QD bushing system allows the sheave to be mounted and removed without specialty tooling, which reduces downtime during routine maintenance or component replacement. When a system calls for a 5V, A, or B section belt in a four-groove arrangement with an approximately 6-inch pitch diameter, this sheave fits the application directly.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install sheave for fan, blower, and pump belt-drive systems using 5V, A, or B section V-belts in four-groove configurations. Requires a separately purchased B-style QD bushing sized to the target shaft diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or mechanical contractor. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the drive system before removing guards or handling belts and sheaves. Ensure the QD bushing is properly sized for the drive shaft before tightening fasteners to the bushing manufacturer's specifications. After installation, verify belt tension and sheave alignment with a straightedge or laser alignment tool before returning the system to service.
