The BROWNING 1042621 is a single-groove, quick-disconnect (QD) bushed V-belt sheave designed for industrial and commercial mechanical drive systems. It accepts both A and B belt trade sizes and features a 10.25-inch outside diameter with a belt pitch diameter of 9.5 inches for A-series belts and 9.9 inches for B-series belts. The H-style QD bushing bore accommodates shaft diameters from 0.375 inches up to 1.5 inches. Cast iron construction delivers the durability required for motor and fan drive applications in HVAC, blower, and pump installations. HVAC technicians, millwrights, and mechanical contractors install this sheave type when replacing or upgrading belt drive assemblies.
This sheave is suited for single-groove belt drive configurations in light to medium industrial duty applications. Typical installations include belt-driven supply and return air blowers in commercial air handling units, exhaust fans, and pump drives where an H-style QD bushing hub is specified. The QD bushing system allows fast removal and reinstallation without specialty pullers, making field service practical. The A and B dual-belt compatibility gives technicians flexibility when sourcing replacement belts on the job.
Designed for use with H-style QD bushings and compatible with A-series and B-series V-belts. Fits shaft diameters from 0.375 inches to 1.5 inches where an H-style QD bushing hub is required.
Installation and removal should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or millwright. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the drive motor before servicing the sheave or belt. Align the sheave to the mating pulley within manufacturer tolerances before fully tightening the QD bushing fasteners, as misalignment accelerates belt and bearing wear. Verify belt tension after initial run-in and re-tension as needed per the belt manufacturer guidelines.
