The BROWNING 1027234 is a finished bore single groove sheave designed for V-belt drive systems in commercial and industrial HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical power transmission applications. Manufactured from cast iron, this sheave features a 0.75 inch finished bore and an 8.25 inch outer diameter. The hub length through bore measures 1-15/32 inches. The finished bore eliminates the need for additional machining prior to installation, making it a direct fit for appropriately sized shafts. This sheave is compatible with standard B-section and A-section V-belts as well as 3L and 4L fractional horsepower belt profiles, covering a range of common drive configurations found in blower and fan assemblies.
This sheave is suited for single-groove V-belt drive setups in residential and light commercial air handling equipment, rooftop units, belt-drive fans, and similar rotating machinery. It is a common replacement component in blower sections of air handlers and furnaces where the original sheave has worn grooves, cracked, or failed. Technicians replacing motor or blower sheaves in the field will find the finished bore ready to mount without lathe work. Install this component wherever a B or A cross-section single groove sheave of matching bore and pitch diameter is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement single groove sheave for V-belt drive systems requiring a 0.75 inch finished bore and approximately 8.25 inch outer diameter. Accepts A, B, 4L, and 3L cross-section V-belts.
Installation of this sheave should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or millwright. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the equipment before removing or installing belt drive components. Ensure the shaft diameter matches the finished bore exactly and secure the sheave with the appropriate key and setscrew before tensioning the belt. Verify belt alignment between the driver and driven sheaves after installation to prevent premature belt and bearing wear.
