The BROWNING 1026681 is a finished bore single groove sheave designed for V-belt drive systems in HVAC, industrial, and mechanical power transmission applications. Cast from iron for durability, this sheave features a 1 inch finished bore diameter and a 5.1 inch outer diameter, making it a direct-mount component ready for installation without additional machining. The groove accepts standard 4L or A profile belts with a pitch diameter of 4.7 inches, as well as 3L profile belts with a pitch diameter of 4.36 inches. The overall length through bore is 1-5/32 inches and the face width is 3/4 inch. Licensed HVAC technicians, millwrights, and mechanical contractors typically install this sheave in blower and fan drive assemblies.
This sheave is suited for use in belt-driven blower assemblies, air handling units, exhaust fans, and general-purpose power transmission setups found in both residential and light commercial settings. The finished bore eliminates the need for machining on-site, making it practical for field replacement of worn or damaged sheaves in existing drive systems. Ensure the shaft diameter matches the 1 inch finished bore and that the new sheave is aligned with the mating sheave using a straightedge before tightening the set screw.
