The BROWNING 1002930 is a two-groove, QD bushed V belt sheave designed for industrial belt drive systems. It accepts 5V, A, and B cross-section V belts and mounts via a Q1-style quick-detach bushing, allowing fast installation and removal without specialty tooling. The outside diameter measures 18.75 inches, with a belt pitch A diameter of 18.0 inches and a belt pitch B diameter of 18.4 inches. Bore capacity ranges from 0.75 inches minimum to 2.6875 inches maximum to accommodate a wide selection of Q1 bushings. Cast iron construction provides the rigidity and mass balance required for reliable, long-service belt drive operation in HVAC, industrial, and mechanical equipment applications.
This sheave is suited for use in fan drive assemblies, blower systems, pump drives, and general power-transmission applications where two-groove V belt arrangements are specified. It is commonly installed in commercial HVAC air-handling units, industrial exhaust systems, and centrifugal pump stations. The QD bushing system makes it practical for equipment rooms where shaft access is limited and periodic belt maintenance is routine. Licensed millwrights, HVAC mechanics, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct drive component for two-groove V belt drive systems using Q1-style QD bushings and 5V, A, or B cross-section belts.
Installation should be performed by a qualified millwright or mechanical technician. Disconnect and lock out all power to the drive system before mounting or removing the sheave. The Q1 bushing must be selected separately to match the shaft diameter within the 0.75 to 2.6875 inch bore range; follow the bushing manufacturer torque sequence for cap screws. Verify belt alignment and tension with a straightedge and tension gauge after assembly before returning the system to service.
