It accepts a Q1-style QD bushing and accommodates bore diameters from 0.75 inches to 2.6875 inches, making it adaptable to a wide range of shaft sizes. The sheave has a 13.95-inch outside diameter and a Belt Pitch A diameter of 13.2 inches. At 24.35 pounds, this is a substantial cast component suited for medium-to-heavy-duty belt drive configurations. Installation is performed by licensed mechanical contractors or qualified HVAC technicians working on blower and fan drive assemblies.
This sheave is used in belt-driven fan and blower assemblies found in commercial and industrial HVAC systems, air handlers, and process ventilation equipment. The two-groove configuration allows dual V-belt drive setups, which distribute load across both belts and reduce wear on individual drive components. The QD bushing system enables fast removal and reinstallation without damaging the shaft or sheave bore, a practical advantage during scheduled maintenance.
