The BRON TAPES 105935 is a double sided foam glazing tape designed to seal and cushion glass panels in window and door framing applications. Sold under the BT-1960 series designation, it measures 0.375 inches wide by 25 yards long with a thickness of 0.125 inches. The black closed-cell foam construction conforms to irregular surfaces, creating a continuous weather-resistant seal between glass and frame. Glaziers, window installers, and general contractors use this tape during new construction and retrofit window installations where a compressible, adhesive-backed spacer is required.
This tape is suited for residential and light commercial glazing work, including fixed-lite windows, sliding glass doors, storefront framing, and curtainwall applications where a foam backing is needed to hold glass securely and isolate it from frame movement. The 25-yard roll length reduces mid-job splicing on larger openings, and the 0.375-inch width fits standard glazing channels commonly found in aluminum and vinyl window systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use glazing tape for standard aluminum, vinyl, and wood window and door frames requiring a double sided foam spacer in the glazing channel.
Glazing tape is typically installed by glaziers or window technicians following applicable local building codes. Clean and dry the glazing channel and glass edge thoroughly before application to ensure full adhesive contact. Apply consistent pressure along the full length of the tape to activate the adhesive bond before setting the glass panel. Do not stretch the tape during application, as this reduces thickness uniformity and can compromise the seal.
