The BRON TAPES 101016 is a double-sided foam glazing tape designed for sealing and securing glass panels, window assemblies, and related glazing applications. Manufactured to BT-1960 specifications, it measures 0.375 inches wide, 0.125 inches thick, and comes in a 25-yard roll. The white foam carrier provides a compressible, conformable bond layer that fills minor surface irregularities while holding glass or panel edges firmly in place. Glaziers, window installers, and construction trades use this tape as a primary seal or spacer in curtain wall, storefront, and residential window framing systems.
This tape is suited for light commercial and residential glazing work where a consistent, compressible foam bond is required between glass and frame. The double-sided adhesive construction allows simultaneous adhesion to two mating surfaces, making it practical for setting glass into aluminum or vinyl framing channels without the need for additional mechanical fasteners or wet sealants during initial placement. It is also used in panel mounting and light-duty gasketing tasks in construction and HVAC enclosure work.
Designed as an OEM-style glazing tape for use in residential and light commercial window framing, storefront glazing, and panel-mounting applications requiring a 0.375-inch wide double-sided foam tape.
This tape is typically installed by glaziers or window technicians during glass setting or panel assembly. Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of dust, oils, and loose coatings before tape application to ensure full adhesive contact. Apply firm, even pressure along the full tape run after positioning to maximize bond strength. Do not stretch the tape during application, as this reduces foam recovery and long-term sealing performance.
