The BRK First Alert SMICO100-AC(1046871) is a hardwired combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. This alarm includes a backup battery to ensure functionality during power outages. It uses both ionization and electrochemical sensors to effectively detect smoke and carbon monoxide. It can connect with up to twelve other compatible First Alert and BRK alarms, allowing all units to activate simultaneously upon detection of smoke or CO. The alarm includes a test/silence feature for testing functionality and silencing false alarms, as well as an end-of-life warning for timely replacement.
