The BRIDGEPORT FITTINGS SC-67 is a zinc-plated steel conduit body cover with screws, designed to enclose open conduit bodies and protect interior wiring from moisture, dust, and environmental exposure. Built from steel with an electroplated zinc finish, this cover delivers stronger corrosion resistance than comparable aluminum covers, making it a reliable choice in harsh or wet locations. It ships with set screws for secure installation and fits conduit bodies in the 2.5-inch to 3-inch trade size range. Electricians working in industrial, commercial, or heavy-duty residential applications will find this cover a straightforward, code-compliant solution for sealing conduit bodies.
The SC-67 is suited for use with conduit bodies installed in electrical raceway systems where protection of splices, pulls, or direction changes is required. It is compatible with conduit bodies in trade sizes 2.5 inches through 3 inches and may be used with or without a cellulose or neoprene gasket depending on the sealing requirements of the installation. Bridgeport Fittings conduit body covers are available across a broad trade size range from 0.5 inches through 4 inches, giving electricians a consistent product family across multiple conduit sizes on the same job.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation cover for steel conduit bodies in the 2.5-inch to 3-inch trade size range. May be used with or without a cellulose or neoprene gasket.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit body enclosures. Before servicing any conduit body, de-energize the circuit at the panel and verify zero voltage with a meter. Place the cover over the open conduit body face and tighten the provided set screws evenly to secure it in place. If a gasket is required for moisture sealing, install the gasket between the cover and the conduit body before fastening.
