The BRIDGEPORT FITTINGS 923 is a one-hole EMT conduit strap designed to secure electrical metallic tubing to walls, ceilings, framing, and other structural surfaces. Built from zinc electroplated malleable iron, it delivers corrosion resistance and mechanical strength suitable for typical commercial and residential electrical installations. The strap accommodates a 1-1/4 inch trade size conduit, uses a 1/2 inch hole and bolt size, and measures 2 inches in length by 3/4 inch in width. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of a code-compliant conduit support system. It carries UL 514B listing for both Canada and the US and meets RoHS compliance requirements.
This strap is used on EMT conduit runs in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments where secure, evenly spaced conduit support is required. It is suited for surface-mounted conduit installations along concrete block, wood framing, metal studs, or similar substrates. The one-hole mounting design allows fast single-fastener attachment, making it a standard choice for electricians managing high-volume conduit runs where installation speed and consistent support spacing are priorities.
Designed for use on EMT conduit at 1-1/4 inch trade size. Suitable as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation strap wherever one-hole EMT conduit supports are specified.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 358 requirements for EMT conduit support spacing. De-energize all circuits in the work area before securing conduit runs. Use the appropriate fastener for the mounting substrate — masonry anchors for concrete, wood screws for framing, and sheet metal screws for metal studs. Do not overtighten the mounting fastener, as malleable iron straps can crack under excessive torque.
