The BRIDGEPORT FITTINGS 471-SLT is a 3/4-inch malleable iron liquid tight 90-degree connector designed to join metallic liquid tight conduit to an electrical box or enclosure at a 90-degree angle. Malleable iron construction provides heavy-duty impact and abrasion resistance in harsh, wet, and industrial environments. The fitting includes NPT threads, a polypropylene or polyethylene knockout gasket, and an internal sealing ring that creates a liquid tight seal between the conduit and the box knockout. A zinc-plated steel compression nut and inner sealing ring secure the conduit in place. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting in conduit runs requiring directional changes at enclosure entries.
This connector is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial applications where metallic liquid tight conduit must transition into a box knockout at a 90-degree angle. It is appropriate for use in wet locations per NEC requirements and is rated for Class I Division 2, Class II Divisions 1 and 2, and Class III Divisions 1 and 2 per NEC 501.30(B). Trade sizes range from 3/8 inch to 4 inches across the product family, making this 3/4-inch size a common choice for standard branch circuit and equipment wiring runs in damp or wet environments.
Designed for use with 3/4-inch metallic liquid tight conduit connecting to standard electrical box or enclosure knockouts. Compatible with standard NPT knockout configurations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician following NEC requirements for wet location conduit fittings. De-energize all circuits in the enclosure before beginning work. Slide the compression nut and inner sealing ring over the conduit before threading the ferrule into the conduit channel, then insert the conduit into the connector body, tighten the compression nut, and secure the fitting to the knockout using the provided locknut. Do not overtighten the compression nut with power tools, as this can damage the sealing ring and compromise the liquid tight integrity of the fitting.
