The BRIDGEPORT FITTINGS 433-SLT is a 1-1/4 inch malleable iron liquid tight straight connector designed to create a secure, liquid tight seal between metallic liquid tight conduit and an electrical box or enclosure. Built from malleable iron with an electroplated zinc finish, it delivers heavy-duty impact resistance, abrasion resistance, and long-term corrosion protection in harsh or wet service conditions. The fitting includes NPT threads, a knockout gasket, and an internal sealing ring to maintain a reliable seal at the conduit-to-enclosure junction. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting in industrial, commercial, and wet-location applications.
This connector is suited for wet-location installations where conduit must terminate at a box or enclosure with a liquid tight seal intact. It meets NEMA Type 2, 3, 3R, 4, and 12 ratings, satisfies NEC requirements for use in wet locations, and is suitable for use in Class I Division 2, Class II Divisions 1 and 2, and Class III Divisions 1 and 2 per NEC 501.30(B). The 433-SLT is UL Listed under File No. E9391, covering trade sizes 1-1/4 inches through 4 inches.
Designed for use with metallic liquid tight conduit terminating at an electrical box or enclosure knockout. Compatible trade sizes in the BRIDGEPORT FITTINGS malleable iron liquid tight straight connector series range from 1-1/4 inches to 6 inches.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits before beginning conduit termination work. Slide the compression nut and inner sealing ring over the conduit before threading the ferrule into the conduit channel, then insert the conduit into the connector body, tighten the compression nut, and secure the fitting to the box knockout using the provided locknut. Do not overtighten the compression nut with power tools, as malleable iron fittings can crack under excessive force.
