The Bridgeport 3838ASP is an insulated duplex E-Z LOCK snap-in connector. This connector is designed for use with cable types ranging from fourteen to ten gauge, accommodating .38 to .59 inch steel or aluminum AC, MC, and MCIA cables and three eighths inch steel or aluminum FMC tubing. To install, simply snap the cables into the connector and push the assembly into the electrical box. No additional tools are necessary. The design includes integral internal spring steel locking tabs that secure the cable and conduit, as well as external locking tabs that stabilize the connector within the electrical box. This connector is compliant with the National Electrical Code, ensuring proper grounding continuity when installed correctly.
