The Bravo BRV-M09DT-230VI is a 9,000 BTU slim duct indoor unit designed for concealed ceiling or wall installation in ductless mini split heat pump systems. Operating on R32 refrigerant at 230 volts, this unit delivers both heating and cooling through a low-profile air handler that installs out of sight behind finished ceilings or walls. It is compatible with multi-zone outdoor condensing units and supports smart app connectivity for remote temperature management. Licensed HVAC technicians install this unit as part of a larger Milano Series multi-zone configuration, pairing it with an appropriately sized outdoor unit.
The BRV-M09DT-230VI is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a concealed installation is required without sacrificing system performance. Typical install locations include master bedrooms, private offices, smaller living areas, and any space where a wall-mounted cassette is not desirable. This unit has been configured in 2-zone, 4-zone, and 5-zone Milano Series systems alongside other Bravo Milano slim duct indoor units such as the BRV-M12DT-230VI and BRV-M24DT-230VI, paired with compatible Bravo multi-zone outdoor condensers.
The BRV-M09DT-230VI has been used in confirmed configurations with Bravo multi-zone outdoor units including the BRV-M42-230VO and BRV-M36-230VO, alongside other Milano Series slim duct indoor units including the BRV-M12DT-230VI and BRV-M24DT-230VI. Consult Bravo system documentation to verify outdoor unit pairing and total zone capacity before installation.
Installation of this slim duct indoor unit must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding EPA 608 certification, as the system uses R32 refrigerant. Power to the outdoor unit and any associated electrical circuits must be shut off and locked out before beginning line set connections or electrical terminations. Refrigerant line sets, condensate drain routing, and low-voltage control wiring must be sized and routed per the manufacturer installation manual and applicable local mechanical codes. Do not energize the system until all refrigerant connections are pressure-tested and all control wiring is verified.
