The Bravo BRV-M24-230VO is a multi-zone outdoor condenser unit designed for ductless mini-split heat pump systems using R32 refrigerant. Rated at 24,000 BTU/h for both cooling and heating, it operates on a 208-230V, 1-phase, 60Hz power supply and carries a SEER2 rating of 23, placing it in the high-efficiency tier for residential and light-commercial applications. The unit pairs with multiple compatible indoor heads to deliver independent zone control across two or more rooms. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and commissioning, including refrigerant handling under EPA Section 608 requirements.
This outdoor unit is suited for mid-sized homes, multi-room apartments, and light commercial spaces where a single outdoor condenser must serve multiple interior zones. Typical configurations include a master bedroom, living room, and office, or a kitchen and two large bedrooms, depending on load calculations and layout. It supports both wall-mounted and slim-duct indoor unit styles in the Bravo Milano lineup, including pairings such as BRV-M24-230VO with BRV-M09WM-230VI and BRV-M12WM-230VI indoor units.
Compatible with Bravo Milano indoor units including BRV-M09WM-230VI and BRV-M12WM-230VI wall-mount heads, as well as BRV-M09CT-230VI, BRV-M12CT-230VI, BRV-M18CT-230VI, and BRV-M24CT-230VI slim-duct indoor models in multi-zone configurations.
Installation must be performed by an EPA Section 608 certified HVAC technician qualified to handle R32 refrigerant, which is an A2L mildly flammable refrigerant requiring appropriate safety precautions and tools. Disconnect and lock out all power at the breaker before making any electrical connections. Minimum Circuit Ampacity is 20 amps with a maximum fuse size of 30 amps — confirm that the electrical service and disconnect meet NEC requirements before energizing the system. Refrigerant line sets should be sized and routed per the manufacturer installation manual; do not exceed published line length or elevation limits.
