The BRASSCRAFT PNEV-NCVX is a self-piercing needle valve kit designed to tap into existing copper or compatible tubing without cutting the line. The kit includes a saddle clamp with self-locking nuts, a brass sleeve insert, and a Delrin sleeve for a secure, leak-resistant connection. The outlet is a 1/4 inch OD compression fitting, and the valve body is constructed in rough brass. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install this type of valve when adding a low-flow branch connection, such as a refrigerator icemaker line or humidifier supply, to an existing water supply tube.
