The BRASSCRAFT G2CEPX14C is a 1/4-turn straight stop valve designed to connect a cold expansion PEX supply line to a 3/8 inch OD compression outlet. The inlet accepts 1/2 inch nominal cold expansion PEX connections, making it compatible with the Uponor (Wirsbo) PEX expansion fitting system. This type of stop valve is used to shut off water supply to individual fixtures such as toilets, faucets, and ice makers. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers work with these valves during new construction, remodel, and service calls where PEX supply lines terminate at a fixture shutoff point.

This straight stop is intended for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where a cold expansion PEX main line transitions to a compression-style fixture connector.
