The BRAMEC ecnr35 is a dual-element, time-delay current-limiting fuse rated for 35 amps at 250 volts AC and 125 volts DC. Built to Class RK5 standards, it delivers superior overload and motor-cycling performance by combining a time-delay element that tolerates harmless inrush surges with a fast-acting element that clears sustained faults. The non-indicating ferrule-end body fits standard fuse holders and disconnects used across residential and light commercial electrical installations. Licensed electricians working on motor branch circuits, HVAC equipment, and general distribution panels are the primary installers.
This fuse suits branch-circuit protection on single-phase and three-phase motor loads where cycling inrush is a recurring concern. The dual-element design holds through normal motor starting events up to 500 percent of rated current for 10 seconds before opening, reducing nuisance trips on compressors, pumps, and fan motors. It is also applicable in transformer and general-purpose feeder protection within panels rated to 250 Vac service. The ferrule-end termination style is compatible with standard Class RK5 fuse holders and safety switches sized for the 35 A rating.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for Class RK5 ferrule-end fuses rated 35 A at 250 Vac or 125 Vdc in standard branch-circuit and motor-circuit fuse holders.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit at the upstream disconnect or panel before removing or installing the fuse. Verify the replacement fuse matches the ampere rating, voltage rating, and class of the original before closing the holder. Never install a fuse with a higher ampere rating than the circuit or equipment is designed to carry.
