The BRAMEC 13651 is an insulated closed end connector terminal designed for splicing and terminating pigtail wire connections in electrical and low-voltage wiring applications. The connector accommodates wire gauges from 22 to 14 AWG and features a nylon insulation sleeve that provides electrical isolation and strain relief at the termination point. Sold in a standard pack of 100, this connector is a staple consumable for HVAC technicians, electricians, and plumbers who work with control wiring, sensor leads, and equipment pigtails on a regular basis.
Closed end connectors are used wherever a secure, insulated wire splice or pigtail termination is required without an open barrel crimp. Common applications include low-voltage control circuit wiring, thermostat wire splices, appliance pigtail repairs, and general electrical panel or junction box wiring. The 22-14 AWG range makes this connector suitable for both fine sensor wire and heavier control conductors encountered in residential and light commercial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use closed end wire connector for residential and light commercial electrical, HVAC control, and plumbing equipment wiring where 22 to 14 AWG insulated terminations are required.
Installation is performed by electricians and HVAC technicians using a ratcheting crimp tool rated for insulated closed end connectors. Always de-energize the circuit and verify voltage absence with a meter before making any wire termination. Follow applicable NEC requirements for the circuit type and enclosure. Do not use open-barrel crimp tools, as they will not properly seat the closed end connector sleeve.
