The BRAMEC 13624 is a non-insulated male/female disconnect terminal designed for quick, reliable electrical connections in low-voltage wiring applications. Each pack contains 100 terminals configured as one male and one female connector per pair, with a 0.25-inch tab size. Compatible with 16 to 14 AWG wire, these terminals accept standard push-on disconnect fittings and are well suited for field wiring tasks where fast, secure terminations are required. Electricians and HVAC technicians rely on disconnect terminals like these for control wiring, panel connections, and component hookups where frequent disconnection may be needed.
These disconnect terminals are commonly used in residential and light commercial applications including HVAC control wiring, electrical panel work, appliance servicing, and general low-voltage circuit terminations. The non-insulated construction makes them appropriate for use in applications where a separate insulating sleeve or heat shrink will be applied, or where the termination point is housed within an enclosure that provides its own protection.
Designed as a standard replacement and general-use disconnect terminal for 16 to 14 AWG wiring applications requiring a 0.25 inch push-on tab connection.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or HVAC technicians following applicable NEC guidelines. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating or disconnecting any wiring. Use the appropriate crimping tool rated for the terminal type and wire gauge to ensure a secure, gas-tight crimp. Do not over-crimp or use pliers as a substitute for a proper ratcheting crimp tool, as this can compromise connection integrity.
