The BRADY 110923 is a roll of PermaSleeve heat shrink wire and cable labels designed for use with Brady label printers. These polyolefin sleeves slide over wire and cable ends, then shrink to conform tightly when heat is applied, locking the label in place for a durable, tamper-resistant identification solution. Printed in black on a white background, the labels produce high-contrast text and barcodes that hold up in demanding environments. Electricians and low-voltage installers rely on this format to meet wire identification requirements on panel wiring, control circuits, and cable runs.
These labels are sized for 1/8 inch diameter wire and cable, making them well suited for smaller-gauge conductors commonly found in control wiring, instrumentation, and low-voltage applications. They are compatible with ribbon-based Brady portable label printers and are appropriate for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work where permanent, heat-shrink wire markers are specified. Installers use them in panel boards, junction boxes, and equipment rooms wherever organized wire ID is required.
Compatible with Brady M210, M211, and BMP21-PLUS label printers using ribbon cartridges. Designed for 1/8 inch diameter wire and cable as an OEM-style label consumable for those printer models.
Installation is performed by electricians and low-voltage technicians. De-energize all circuits before applying wire labels to live panel wiring in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. Slide the sleeve over the wire end before terminating, print the label using the compatible printer, and apply heat evenly with a heat gun to shrink the sleeve to the conductor. Do not overheat, as excessive heat can damage the conductor insulation beneath the sleeve.
