The BRADLEY S19314AC is a combination drench shower and eye/face wash station designed for emergency decontamination in industrial and commercial facilities. The unit delivers 26 GPM shower flow and 3 GPM bowl flow, both rated at 30 psi, providing simultaneous full-body and eye/face rinsing capability. The shower head is plastic, the bowl is stainless steel, and the supply pipe is galvanized steel. Activation is via a push flag foot treadle, allowing hands-free operation during an emergency. The station accepts top or mid supply connections through a 1-1/4 inch inlet. Licensed plumbers and safety equipment technicians are the primary installers for this type of unit.
The S19314AC is intended for use in manufacturing plants, chemical processing facilities, laboratories, and any industrial environment where ANSI Z358.1-2009 emergency eyewash and shower compliance is required. The open wash station style allows quick, unobstructed access. The triangular pull rod and foot treadle activation design accommodates workers who may have compromised hand function during a chemical exposure event. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ANSI Z358.1-2009 positioning and flow requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before making supply connections. Verify inlet supply pressure and flow rate at the rough-in point prior to final connection to confirm the unit will meet minimum emergency flow specifications. The unit must be installed in a location that is accessible within 10 seconds of the hazard area per ANSI Z358.1-2009 guidance.
