The BRADLEY s19-2150 is a thermostatic mixing valve engineered for emergency eyewash stations and safety shower units in industrial and commercial facilities. It blends hot and cold water to deliver tepid water within the temperature range required by OSHA and ANSI Z358.1 for emergency flushing of skin and eyes. Built from brass and rated for a maximum flow rate of 30.3 gallons per minute, this valve handles the high-demand flow requirements of safety shower applications. Inlet connections are 3/4 inch NPT female; the outlet is 1 inch NPT female. The valve carries ASSE 1071 certification and is part of the EFX20U series.
This valve is intended for permanent plumbing installation in facilities where OSHA-compliant emergency flushing equipment is required, including manufacturing plants, laboratories, chemical handling areas, and industrial work sites. It is designed for use with safety showers and combination shower-eyewash units. The adjustable set point, checkstops on both inlets, and built-in dial thermometer make commissioning and periodic testing straightforward for the licensed plumber or facilities maintenance technician performing the installation.
Compatible with Bradley brand safety showers and eyewash units. Suitable for installations requiring ASSE 1071-rated thermostatic mixing valves on safety shower and combination shower-eyewash systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ANSI Z358.1 requirements. Shut off the water supply to both the hot and cold lines before beginning any connection work. Use thread sealant rated for potable water on all NPT connections. After installation, verify output temperature at the valve outlet with a calibrated thermometer before placing the emergency fixture back in service.
