The BOSHART pg25cbm-100-gnl is a glycerine-filled liquid pressure gauge designed for general-purpose service across potable water pump systems, compressors, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic presses, and commercial air, water, and steam applications. The glycerine fill dampens internal movement, making this gauge well suited for installations where vibration or pressure pulsation is a regular condition. The 2.5-inch dial reads from 0 to 100 psi in 1 psi increments, and the center back mount (CBM) configuration positions the process connection at the rear center of the case. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus 1.5 percent of full scale value. The 304 stainless steel case resists corrosion in demanding service environments, while the brass connection interfaces with standard 1/4-inch male pipe thread (MPT) fittings.
This gauge is intended for fluid media that will not clog the connection or corrode copper alloy wetted parts. It is not approved for use with oxygen, natural gas, or propane. Typical installations include residential and light commercial water pump systems, air compressor discharge lines, pneumatic control panels, and machinery requiring local pressure indication. The operating temperature range of -4 degrees F to 140 degrees F (-20 degrees C to 60 degrees C) covers most indoor mechanical room and pump house environments. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance mechanics are the primary installers.
Suitable for potable water pump systems, compressors, hydraulic presses, machinery, pneumatic equipment, and motors where the fluid medium does not clog the connection or corrode copper alloy. Not for use with oxygen, natural gas, or propane.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or qualified mechanical technician. Relieve all system pressure and isolate the gauge port before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male pipe threads per local plumbing code requirements, and avoid over-tightening brass fittings to prevent thread damage. Verify that the process fluid is compatible with brass and copper alloy wetted components before placing the gauge in service.
