The ROBERT BOSCH TOOL GROUP T130RF1 is a 3-inch, 30-grit carbide-grit T-shank jigsaw blade engineered for cutting hard, abrasive materials including ceramics, glass, and fiberglass. Unlike toothed jigsaw blades, this blade uses a file-effect abrasive edge that grinds rather than chips through brittle surfaces, producing fine, controlled cuts in both straight and curved paths. It ships in a 5-blade pack and weighs 0.14 pounds total. Tile setters, glaziers, fiberglass fabricators, and skilled tradespeople working with non-metallic hard materials will find this blade suited to their workflow.
This blade is intended for use in materials that would damage or bind conventional toothed blades. Ceramics, glass tile, and fiberglass panels are primary applications. The carbide-grit construction allows the blade to maintain cutting performance on surfaces with high hardness ratings. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial trade work where precision cuts in brittle or abrasive sheet materials are required. The T-shank tang fits the standard universal jigsaw chuck found on the majority of modern jigsaw models.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or consumable T-shank jigsaw blade compatible with jigsaws equipped with a standard universal T-shank chuck.
Blade installation and changes must be performed with the jigsaw unplugged or the battery pack removed. Use the jigsaw manufacturer-recommended blade clamp or key to seat the T-shank fully before operation. When cutting ceramics or glass, a slow, steady feed rate reduces the risk of cracking the workpiece. Eye protection and appropriate dust controls are recommended when cutting abrasive or silica-containing materials.
