The ROBERT BOSCH TOOL GROUP HCFC2041 is a carbide SDS-Plus rotary hammer drill bit from the Bulldog Xtreme line, engineered for heavy-duty rotary hammer use in concrete and rebar-heavy applications. It measures 1/4 inch in diameter with a 4-inch flute length and 6.5-inch overall length. Diffusion bonding technology creates a stronger carbide-to-steel bond, reducing tip loss and extending service life. The centric conical tip self-centers on contact, guiding the bit through concrete for rounder, more accurate holes. A built-in wear mark allows the installer to verify that the hole diameter remains within spec throughout the bit's usable life.
This bit is designed for professional use in concrete, block, and rebar-reinforced structures. It is optimized for heavy-duty SDS-Plus rotary hammers in residential and commercial construction, MEP rough-in, and concrete anchor installation. The geometry reduces carbide wear compared to standard two-cutter designs, keeping the operator productive across more holes per bit. The design also resists jamming when the bit contacts embedded rebar, reducing tool stress and downtime on the job.
Designed for use with heavy-duty SDS-Plus rotary hammers. The SDS-Plus shank is the standard interface for professional rotary hammer drills in this class.
Installation of this bit requires an SDS-Plus rotary hammer drill. Disconnect the tool from power before inserting or removing the bit. Confirm the bit is fully seated and locked in the chuck before operation. Follow applicable OSHA and tool-manufacturer safety guidelines when drilling into concrete or rebar-reinforced structures, including the use of appropriate PPE such as eye protection and hearing protection.
